SPEED100

Product Datasheet

The SPEED100 is a multi-constellation GNSS speed sensor with built in 4G LTE modem, capable of standalone speed accuracies down to 0.03m/s and typical position accuracy of 1.2m. This can be improved with the provision of RTK corrections down to 2cm with a suitable correction source and licence.

The main applications for the SPEED100 are wherever a CAN, Race Technology serial data, or NMEA high accuracy precision output are required, primarily as an input to existing data logging systems. The SPEED100 can also be used as a high accuracy position input with a Race Technology logger such as the DL2. It is not intended for vehicle dynamics performance testing but does have an external trigger input which can be used for marking events, and a Pulse Per Second output.

As well as data being available locally, a logging license can be enabled to give remote access to live and logged data via the RT Cloud service. By using the RTK option on the SPEED100, the positional accuracy can be improved to 2cm, when suitable corrections are supplied either via the built in 4G LTE radio modem, or via an external correction source on the radio modem port.

Status information for the connection and satellite information is shown on the LCD.
